that i know off u cant get an auto loan banks don’t like financing salvage title vehicles but you can apply for a personal loan if u want

Apply for a personal loan with your credit union. If you have a good history with them and a good financial background (credit), you should be able to get it. Tell them exactly what it’s for, and explain that you know an auto loan will not allow salvage titles.

If you have the approved loan amount before you go. Just visit your credit union and ask for a loan for a car. They will tell you how much they can give you and give you a check for the full amount. Then you can use that to buy the car, and any amount left over will go back to the bank.

By the way, Acura stopped making the Integra. It is now known as the the RSX and they stop making that in 2006. And a Scion Tc is really cramped on the inside, and gets poor gas milage for a small car. The Accord would be a good choice though!

You can’t really get a loan for a salvage title vehicle. You got lucky with one, that doesn’t mean you are going to keep getting lucky with them.

i go to auctions every week in houston. no way a credit union will lend you money to buy a car at the auction unless its personal loan. on the other hand if you do get into auctions and are a salvage dealer? then like for instance here in houston i go to insurance auto auctions and they offer loans to purchase a car but if you dont repay in 14 days i think the interest rate is high (not sure never used it) … i guess i would suggest going to a used car lot that sells salvage cars and talk to the owner and seeing if you can go to the auctions with them and select your own car and have them fix it up for you. some of those salvage dealers do offer their own financing on the salvage vehicles they sell. hope this helps!
