you need the vehicle id number and the license plate number from your DMV papers and you can get insurance in 10 mins online. I went to geico for my used car insurance, but there are lots of sites. try progressive.com to compare quotes.

It is NOT legal in Ca. to drive without insurance. Have you thought about maybe calling an insurance company to get your car insured ?

You are going to find car insurance in California is super expensive. You must have at least liability coverage to drive on public roads in California. If you are stopped they will probably impound the car.

There is a company in CA that is cheap and can help you. I listed them below. Liability will cost around $25 a month.

Please don’t drive without insurance. I live in California and insurance is expensive enough. If you have a wreck you just hurt us all.
