I wouldn’t think so. Contact an attorney for this question.

contract signed done deal as far as I am concerned; read the fine print on your contract; or contact an attorney

Call your local Better Business Bureau and get their opinion.
If the financing is done and you’re set up with a bank, i.e not waiting for the dealer to find someone who will loan you the money, you should be good to go and the trade in is their problem.

If you had called them and said that you had changed your mind and wanted your trade-in and money back do you think they’d take a second to think about it?

Hell no. They’d say, “Sorry, you took it, we signed a contract, we made a sale, you’re stuck with it!”

For once the car dealer may have gotten screwed. Good. Enjoy your new car, and stop answering their phone calls. If they do get ugly, call a lawyer.

Someplace on one of the million forms you signed, there probably was a clause about accidents your trade-in was in…. fender-benders dont matter, but if there really is frame damage, they probably have a right to cancel the contract.

If you bought the car new, and you know it was never in an accident, then ask them to show you the damage…. they probably wont be able to.

If it was in an accident before you owned the vehicle, you might be screwed… :(

I know every car I have bought from a dealer… they have had be signed a form on the condition of the trade in… specifically frame damage.

I would have them show you the frame damage that is on your previous car. If there is damage then they probably legally can void the purchase that you made.
